This policy describes how LetMeActForYou (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, stores, and deletes personal data for the LetMeActForYou iOS app and the website at actforyou.swapp1990.org. LetMeActForYou is an AI casting studio: you pick an actor, write a scene cue, and we generate a short performance take.
Questions, data requests, or complaints: swapp19902@gmail.com.
1. What we collect
- Account. You sign in with Sign in with Apple, Google, or email. Authentication is brokered by Logto. We receive a stable user identifier, your email address when the provider supplies one, and (for Google) name and avatar if you grant them. We do not see Apple or Google passwords. For email sign-in, Logto stores a hashed credential — we never store your plaintext password.
- Takes and media. Scene cues, optional dialogue, actor selections, consent flags, generated stills, and short video takes, plus metadata needed to show them in My takes.
- App Store billing (as applicable). If you subscribe to LetMeActForYou Pro, Apple processes the payment. We receive subscription status (for example via RevenueCat) so the app can unlock Pro. We do not receive your full card number. Manage or cancel Apple subscriptions in Apple ID / App Store settings — not inside this website.
- AI generation. To create a take we send your cue, optional line, actor reference image, and related prompt text to third-party AI providers for the duration of the request. Providers return generated video or stills that we store so you can replay them.
- Diagnostics. Coarse device and request logs used for crash debugging, rate limits, and abuse prevention. We do not sell this data.
We do not sell your data. We do not use your cues, takes, or media to train our own models.
2. How we use it
- To run LetMeActForYou: sign you in, generate takes, show your library, restore Pro.
- To bill (when you subscribe): confirm App Store entitlement status.
- To prevent abuse and debug failures you report.
3. Where it’s stored and who processes it
- Logto — sign-in (Apple, Google, email).
- Our application database and object storage — account record, takes, and media files.
- Apple App Store / RevenueCat — in-app purchase status, as applicable.
- AI generation providers — prompt and reference media for the length of a generate request.
4. How to delete your account
You can delete your LetMeActForYou account in the app — this is the primary path, not “email us only”:
- Open the LetMeActForYou iOS app and sign in.
- Go to Account.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
Step-by-step detail, what is removed, and how Apple subscriptions are handled: actforyou.swapp1990.org/delete-account.
If you cannot open the app, email swapp19902@gmail.com from the address on the account and we will process deletion. We aim to complete requests within 30 days.
5. How long we keep it
- Account, takes, and media: until you delete the account (or an individual take, where the app allows).
- Server access logs: a short rotation window for security (typically about 14 days).
- Billing records: retained as required by tax and accounting rules where they exist.
6. Your rights
You can request a copy of data we hold, ask us to correct it, or delete your account as described above. EU/UK users have rights under GDPR; California users have rights under CCPA. Contact swapp19902@gmail.com.
7. Children
LetMeActForYou is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has signed up, contact us and we will delete the account.
8. Cookies and tracking
The iOS app uses the signed-in session from Logto. The website may store a first-party session so you stay signed in. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or sell browsing data.
9. Changes
We will update this page when our practices change. Material changes (new processors or new data categories) will be announced to active users when we have an email on file, with reasonable notice before they take effect.
